The Foundation is an academic partner of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Foundation under a signed Memorandum of Understanding (signed July 2026; 5-year term beginning June 2027). Under the MoU, the Foundation sends 10 Greek national students, from anywhere in the world, to represent Greece at the Meetings each year of the 5-year term, beginning with the inaugural cohort in the program's first year, June 2027.

About the MoU
The Nanopoulos Foundation is a signed academic partner of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, under a Memorandum of Understanding since July 2026. The partnership runs for five years, covering the annual Lindau Meetings from 2027 through 2031.
Who can apply
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and master's students, doctoral candidates, and young postdoctoral scientists who are either affiliated with Greek research universities or institutions, or of Greek nationality or Greek origin and affiliated with research institutions outside Greece. Candidates should be working in the discipline matching that year's Lindau Meeting (physics, chemistry, physiology/medicine, or every third year economics), or in an interdisciplinary Meeting year.
THE PARTNERSHIP
How to Apply
Once the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings issues its annual call for applications, the Nanopoulos Foundation distributes it within its network and manages incoming applications, convening its own scientific review panel to pre-select the strongest Greek candidates. Final selection among the Nanopoulos Foundation's nominees rests with Lindau's own Scientific Review Panel. Selected participants who attend are recognized as Fellows of the Nanopoulos Foundation.
