Regional Representatives
A Personal Note
The Regional Representatives program was born from a conviction that has guided everything I do: global work that is not rooted in local reality is just noise.
We can produce frameworks, hold forums, and publish research but if we do not understand what a clinician in Albania needs, what a policymaker in Uganda is navigating, or what a patient community in Southeast Asia is asking for, we are building in the dark.
The most important knowledge in digital health and AI governance is often the knowledge that never makes it into an international report because no one thought to ask.
Our Regional Representatives are the people who ask. They are embedded in their own regions, connected to local institutions, networks, and communities, and they carry something no headquarters can replicate: grassroots understanding.
They bring the real needs, the real gaps, and the real opportunities back to the Hub and in return, they carry the Hub’s work outward, amplifying it where it matters most.
This is not a honorary title. It is a bridge, built in both directions.
