Strengthening Global Collaboration for AI Health Literacy
We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Nanopoulos Foundation and the Kleon Tsetis Foundation, marking an important milestone in our shared commitment to advancing science, innovation, and AI Health Literacy.
Building on a collaboration that began through the Nanopoulos Foundation’s flagship initiatives, including the BioMedAI Summer School, the Health Nexus Forum, and the Digital Health Literacy & Policy Hub, this partnership establishes a framework for expanding joint research, educational, and policy-focused activities at the intersection of healthcare, artificial intelligence, and digital literacy.
The MoU was signed on 16 July 2026 at the UNI-PHARMA Pharmaceutical Laboratories S.A. facilities in Athens by Professor Dimitri V. Nanopoulos, Founder of the Nanopoulos Foundation, Olga Tzortzatou Nanopoulou, CEO of the Nanopoulos Foundation, and Julia Tseti, Founder of the Kleon Tsetis Foundation and President & CEO of the OFET Group of Companies.
Through this partnership, our organizations will collaborate on:
– Research programs and scientific studies focused on AI Health Literacy
– Development of educational resources and evidence-based methodologies
– Knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary scientific cooperation
– Joint conferences, summer schools, webinars, and academic events
– Initiatives promoting responsible, ethical, and human-centered AI in healthcare.
As artificial intelligence continues to transform health systems worldwide, fostering digital and AI literacy is more important than ever. Together, we aim to empower healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate this rapidly evolving landscape responsibly and effectively.
We look forward to working with the Kleon Tsetis Foundation to advance innovation, strengthen public understanding of AI, and contribute to a more inclusive and informed digital health future.
