A big thank you to everyone who joined our Young Voices in Health Policy (YVHP) webinar on women’s health last week, organised around International Women’s Day.
We were grateful to hear from Afua van Haasteren, PhD, Ciara Sheehan, Zoé Speltz, Chelsea Polis, PhD B, and Sabine Oertelt-Prigione, who shared thoughtful perspectives on the complex links between women’s health, digital innovation, research, and rights. The discussion reminded us that as health technologies evolve, questions of bias, equity, trust, and data governance become increasingly central to ensuring that innovation truly serves women and girls.
Thank you as well to our moderators Manon Kayser and Danai Spentzou, and to Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung (DSW) and Ffion Storer Jones, to Better Birth Control e.V., and the Digital Health Literacy & Policy Hub for supporting this conversation. We look forward to continuing to amplify young voices in shaping more inclusive and equitable health systems.
