Workshop: Quantum Computing and Bio-Inspired Technologies

The Nanopoulos Foundation is pleased to highlight a recent scientific workshop hosted by Dr. George Kanellos the Quantum Optical Communications Research Laboratory (QoRe Lab) at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

“Quantum Information Processing on Biology-Inspired Hardware for Quantum Computers” brought together leading researchers and innovators to explore emerging frontiers in quantum information science, quantum communications, photonics, plasmonics, and bio-inspired computing. Among the distinguished speakers were Professor Dimitri V. Nanopoulos, internationally renowned theoretical physicist and Co-Founder of the Nanopoulos Foundation; Dr. Andreas Mershin, Lecturer at MIT and Chief Scientific Officer of RealNose; and Professor Nikolaos Emmanouel Mavromatos, Professor of Physics at the National Technical University of Athens and Emeritus Professor at King’s College London.
