Who We Are

The Nanopoulos Foundation is a New York–based charitable organization dedicated to advancing science, culture, and societal well-being through bold global initiatives.

Founded by visionary thinkers Professor Dimitri V. Nanopoulos and his wife Dr. Olga Tzortzatou Nanopoulou, the Foundation champions interdisciplinary research, ethical innovation, and inclusive policy solutions for our rapidly evolving world.

Partnering in Europe with the Cosmo-Logos Research Center for Science and Culture, the Foundation builds bridges between scientific excellence and public impact.

At the heart of the Foundation’s work is the Digital Health Literacy & Policy Hub, our flagship global initiative that connects experts, advocates, innovators, and young professionals around the world to expand digital health learning, promote ethical AI and data governance, and shape inclusive policies that ensure health technologies empower all communities. To advance digital and health literacy globally by generating accessible, evidence based knowledge, connecting experts across disciplines and regions, and fostering inclusive education and policy environments that enable digital health technologies to be understood, trusted, and used responsibly in service of people and communities.

A future where digital health works for people not just systems. We believe health is bigger than any single discipline or border.

“One Health. One Ecosystem.”

Digital, biological, environmental, and social health are connected. We’re here to make sure innovation keeps up with that reality.

Tech is reshaping health fast and everyone deserves to understand it, question it, and use it confidently.

We help people cut through misinformation, protect their data, and make smart choices by turning complex topics into clear, practical knowledge.

Through research, education, community, and policy work, we make sure digital health innovation serves people first  not the other way around.
